Goals

Our founder Glenda del Monte Escalante has created this program, to share with everyone how  her navigation in the Classical world, the Cuban/Latin Music scene and the Popular Music path compliment each other, and can be a very powerful tool to have.

GLENDACADEMY’s  mission is to connect and expand the music community and will make sure that the participants (students and guest mentor/artists) increase exposure and reach through knowledge sharing and collaborations.

Thorough research, our CEO and Artistic    Director has crafted these workshops/masterclasses with important musical elements to a solid foundation in musicianship, applicable to all instruments.  Our masterclasses offer insight into technique exercises, rhythmic development and independence, music styles blending, creativity, songwriting and more.

Her goal is to gather people together, inspire children, youth and adults, female empowering, and unity, through music.

A cocktail of knowledge, creativity and collaboration, to explore outside our comfort zone.

Let’s move our fingers, minds, bodies and souls while learning and explore together

GLENDACADEMY'S METHOD COURSE WORKOUT

Inspired by our KCC FORMULA of KOWLEDGE, CREATIVITY & COLLABORATION,  is a collection of practice tips or practice guide made up of warm up exercises, drum patterns applied to the piano notation, musical genres blending from classical western to timbal or montuno, Rhythm is universal that anyone can understand it, whether you know DO-RE-MI or A-B-C for none. Whether you speak the same language or not because rhythm is a method of communication, you can find rhythm in almost everything and everywhere, it is and indispensable element.
